Matt Black – Lead Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards
Born in 86, Matt has been playing guitar since the age of 12, keyboards since 8, and singing since he was 15. Starting in pub bands playing various covers and original material he eventually moved into clubs performing classic rock with the likes of “Vertego” & “Stagefright”. After performing at Dez Bailey’s 50th (from MTV’s The Bailey Brothers) Matt was noticed by the backing band (Jamie Mallender & Danny Needham) of ex Black Sabbath Vocalist Tony Martin, they asked him to take part in an original project named Oskura which featured the lead guitarist from Nazareth & Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Zal Cleminson; this led to Matt co-writing various material with Zal, some of which is performed by Invisible Idols. Matt has toured the UK & also appeared at Rhodes Rock 09 in Lindos with tribute act “A Foreigner’s Journey”. He currently performs across the UK with top multi-tribute act "Six Of The Best" which consists of pro musicians from the likes of Tyketto, Paradise Lost, Ten & Bailey's Comet. He is a keen writer who lets energy and emotion into his songs and takes this to the stage with confidence and loves to get involved with his audience. Joe Lally – Bass, Backing Vocals, Keyboards
Joe has played in bands since he was 17. Starting in pubs & clubs gigging 2-3 times a week under the wing of the Bill Dixon Agency, Joe has a lot of experience which shows at all times. Joe has supported and jammed with many big named bands including T-Rex and Oliver-Dawson Saxon, Danny Bryant (Danny Bryant’s Redeye Band), New York rocker Adam Bomb, Graham Oliver (Saxon), Guns N Oatcakes, Joey Pafumi (Ex-Walter Trout Band), Metallica UK (tribute) Danny Needham (Toni Martin Band), and many more. For the past 4 years, Joe has jammed with one of the bands who inspired him to play, the Rock/Blues band called ‘Walter Trout and The Radicals’, fronted by the guitar legend Walter Trout (voted worlds #5 guitarist in a BBC poll). After leaving his first band, Joe spent 6 months as a professional stand-in for pub and club bands, Joe then joined the band ‘Mr Chief’ as their permanent bass player who he still performs with in pubs and WMC’s. Damien 'Damo' Campbell, Drums, Backing Vocals
Damien has been playing drums for 15 years, he attended Thornes Park Centre of Wakefield College. It was here where Damien passed his Grade 8 drumming certificate at the age of 17. After college he played in various bands including Theft Of A Doll & Styckleback. Over a span of 4 years he performed 300 gigs with Styckleback. Whilst performing with this band Damien had an 8 month spell with the female fronted Dead Disco (the female vocalist is now the artist Little Boots). In this project Damien performed a UK tour and recorded in top studios. This gave him the experience on a professional level working with some of the industries best sound engineers and producers. For 12 months Damien has performed in one West Yorkshires top cover acts “Shameless” where he earned a name for himself as one of the most reliable & entertaining drummers in the area. Now being a third of the Idols he is ready take his skills to the next level with two of the best musicians on the circuit.
